Until several years ago, the (IT branch of the) company used to be conservative, but reasonable, with good atmosphere and benefits. However I will not elaborate on it since the times are long gone. Now with a bean counter F.B. at the helm in Luxembourg and a blabbering narcissist in Brussels (likes shooting videos with himself in the main role), you can expect: - Precisely measured 1.5 sausages at the company “barbecue” events; - Management instructions to pay no bonus to employees who have well deserved it, but are suspected to leave; - Having your job outsourced to India. With cost saving measures being omnipresent, if you join now, you cannot expect anything more than a meagre salary.
Coworkers are trying to be nice to each other, but nevertheless the atmosphere is depressing. Obviously they are very happy leaving work in the evening. Even happier on Friday.
Even if you are a business analyst, don't think that your job is safe: the upper management was very proud about opening "BA Academy" in Bangalore.
While some employees could get good salaries/benefit, as a former manager I can tell that there was no consistency whatsoever. Certainly it did not depend on the employee's qualification or performance. Moreover, my options for rectifying the situation were very limited due to the inflexible and opaque budgeting process. The concept of fairness is totally foreign to the upper management.
When a staff representative asked to fix a broken toilet, the management was not shy to point out that the company is only renting the office building - indeed, from one ofmore... the other 20+ letterbox companies registered at the same address.
Business is no charity, but the blatant selfishness of this company will leave you speechless. Hence I can’t recommend it to anyone.less
