A typical day at work: Euro Conversion Day in 2001, wonderful experience of playing with World Exchange rates and Countries knowledge ON THAT DAY. What you learned: Management, at larger scale dealing with management and the Audit firms as well as CSSF Legal departments of Luxembourg. The hardest part of the job is "Implementation Process", once you create a solution/IT resolution for the company after long discussions and negotiations (it must be right). The most enjoyable part for me is Consultations with management and then Development of the solution.
After hours there is always free lunches by the bank.
Long hours, some times but nicely paid in Luxembourg
Taking care of CEO busy calendar, organizing meetings, research, travels arrangements, presentations, taking minutes, interact with all the departments, budgeting, expense claims, room booking, lunch order. Compiling reports, assist other members on the Executive committee. Booking appointments.Welcoming clients, Act as the eyes and ears in absence of the CEO, mails follow up. Microsoft office, lotus notes, PeopleSoft, GSP, I had several training in Audit, Compliance, Depotbank, and Legal. The most enjoyable was to be so helpful and had the opportunity to learn more and more every day.
Participation to different audit missions according to the established plan: ∗ Interim procedure: risk analysis, key figures, KPI and KRI interpretation, ∗ Substantive testing procedure: collect audit evidence that the management assertions made in the Financial Statements are reliable and in accordance with required standards and legislation. ∗ Discuss recommendations with clients & ensure proper implementation of action plans, ∗ Continuous Monitoring and monthly reporting to the management team.
